The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) will host the 2007 Global Corporate Citizenship Conference on September 19 and 20 in Washington DC. The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai) is a non-partisan, non-profit business organization established in 1915. It is the third overseas American chamber to operate worldwide, established only three years after the founding of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. AmCham Shanghai was relaunched in 1987 after a break of 38 years, and is the largest AmCham in the Asia Pacific Region.
