About AmCham Bangladesh
The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham Bangladesh) was formally established in 1996 and duly registered with the Joint Stock Companies of Bangladesh to promote the economic relationships between Bangladesh and the United States. AmCham’s predecessor organization was the “American Bangladesh Economic Forum” (ABEF), founded in 1988.
AmCham Bangladesh’s members include US companies doing business in Bangladesh; Bangladesh companies whose primary business is representing US produced goods and services; and non-profit organizations of United States origin.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is one of the largest American Chambers outside the US, the largest international chamber in Hong Kong, and one of the most dynamic and influential international business organization in the Asia-Pacific region.
