2010-06 Washington Doorknock June 13-17, 2010APCAC The Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC) consists of 27 member AmChams that represent the growing interests of 10,000 businesses and 50,000 executives in 21 countries and economies of the Asia-Pacific region. The APCAC membership manages trade volumes in excess of US$400 billion and direct investments (FDI) of over US$200 billion. The Washington Doorknock is APCAC’s annual meeting in Washington DC with leaders of the U.S. Government Executive Branch (White House, State, Treasury, Commerce, Homeland Security, U.S. Trade Representative, etc.) and Legislative Branch, both the Senate and the House of Representatives, to discuss issues in U.S. relations with the Asia Pacific region and countries. At this event you’ll have opportunities to network with peers from around the Asia-Pacific region, meet fellow members of AmChams Boards of Governors, both senior executives from MNCs and entrepreneurs that have developed substantial APCAC-based businesses. APCAC Report 2010In the APCAC Report 2010, American business leaders across Asia Pacific offer their recommendations for advancing the competitiveness of American products and services in the fastest growing region of the world. The APCAC Report was a new initiative stemming from the 2009 APCAC Conference in Singapore. Now in its second year, the APCAC Report 2010 has been expanded to include even more feedback from companies to both the U.S. and regional governments. |
